UrgoClean Ag Absorbent Silver Dressing Pads are a sterile non-woven pad developed from polyabsorbent cohesive fibres (polyacrylate) with a high absorption capacity. These polyacrylate fibres are placed parallel to the wound surface using a hot melt process, giving UrgoClean Ag its unique absorption characteristics, excellent wound residue drainage, and great tensile strength.
The hydro-desloughing pad is coated with a silver-impregnated micro-adherent healing matrix known as TLC (Lipido-Colloid Technology), which not only provides antibacterial properties but also forms a gel-like substance, making it easier to remove sloughy residue and apply and remove the dressings.
UrgoClean Ag Absorbent Silver Dressing Pad’s polyabsorbent fibres provide thorough cleaning. It reduces the incidence of heavily exuding wounds by 75% and sloughy tissue and wound debris by 62.5%. This ongoing cleansing effect lasts for up to seven days.
